How to Train a Knight

This video from English Heritage relates to fifteenth-century jousting, but it wouldn’t have been that different a century earlier. I hope you enjoy it.

April Munday is the author of the Soldiers of Fortune and Regency Spies series of novels, as well as standalone novels set in the fourteenth century.

  1. Great video April. Love that people still do this, and the horses are amazing and beautiful.

  3. Incredible video, April! I enjoyed Dominic’s journey and how his love of history at a young age led to a lifelong interest in the art of jousting. Also fascinating how fingerprints would immediately start to rust since the metal used wasn’t stainless steel. A magnificent find!
