This video from English Heritage relates to fifteenth-century jousting, but it wouldn’t have been that different a century earlier. I hope you enjoy it.

Great video April. Love that people still do this, and the horses are amazing and beautiful.

The horses are amazing. I also watch Modern History TV where Jason Kingsley, who also jousts, sometimes shows how he trains his horses (and his mule).

Incredible video, April! I enjoyed Dominic’s journey and how his love of history at a young age led to a lifelong interest in the art of jousting. Also fascinating how fingerprints would immediately start to rust since the metal used wasn’t stainless steel. A magnificent find!

The fingerprint thing was interesting. I’m definitely going to use it in a book.
